I dyed my hair!

I forgot to take a picture of my hair before I dyed it...:3 So I'll just try and tell you. My natural hair colour is a really dark brown or a dull black... I dyed it a REALLY light blonde twice, which made it a very light brown (almost bronze looking) colour. I decided to go for the ombré look since my hair was quite light.

The first hair dye I used was 'Schwarzkopf Live- Shake it up Colour Foam' in the colour 'Dark Espresso Kick'. So when I looked at the colour on the packaging, I thought it was a very dark brown... Buuut it is actually black. I thought the ombre would look odd with black at the top, but it's not that bad! It was pretty easy to use from the start, although I'm not sure I would agree that it's non-drip, because even though I tried my hardest not to get it everywhere, the bathroom went from white to black. I think if you really don't want to make a mess then you might want to try another brand (I cannot remember the name of the other foam dye). It says it has a fruity smell to it and that I do agree with. The colour turned out well and my hair is still quite shiny! If you do buy this hair dye then I would recommend placing plastic or newspaper around the area you are working at :).

The second hair dye kit I used was the 'Schwarzkopf Live Medium Plus Lightener'. I did not expect it to go so light to be honest! This kit was even easier to use than the foam! There was only 2 small drops of hair dye on the floor! I don't think this is pure bleach which is a plus! My hair didn't turn out brassy or anything! And my hair is naturally very dry and damaged :L but this dye didn't make it any more dry than it already was! So of course I would definitely recommend this product if you are wanting to lighten your hair.

Maybelline- Super Stay 14 hour Lipstick

I am not much of a lipstick person, but I thought I would try these out. They have a nice range of colours from nudes to bright reds. I wouldn't say they are really pigmented, but they're definitely not sheer. One thing I noticed is that they have a pleasant scent (I don't kniw if it's weird to smell lipstick :P). It applies nicely and it does last quite a while during the day, but I wouldn't say it lasts 14 hours. I believe they are not too pricey (Don't remember how much they are exactly). I also think the packaging is nice because it enable you to see the colour easily; like, if you were to go into your makeup bag or whatever, you can pick the colour you want straight away....that is if you carry more than one lipstick at a time :I. So I reckon... Go and buy it! :)

Ginger Sparkle Shower Gel

This is my first purchase from 'The Body Shop' believe it or not! I saw they had their Christmas products out and I had to smell everything so I took a whiff of this and omigosh I fell in love! There was no price tag but I thought...I MUST BUY IT!...I found out it was $20 which is a bit steep for shower gel but whaatever. Soo.. It smells like either ginger beer or ginger bread men. It says it has ginger root extract and honey and I also noticed in the ingredients that it also has...caramel :o which I thought to be strange. It lathers up nicely and after you dry off, the scent lingers slightly on your skin which is nice. So overall I think this is a pretty good product!

Sugar Baby Pomegranate Perfume

This is my first roller-ball perfume and so far I. Am. Loving. It! So firstly I think the packaging is pretty cute. It comes in a little box with pink and white stripes on it but I three that out when I bought so I have no picture of that. I'm not actually sure if this actually smells like pomegranate or not but it does smell delicious. The only way I can describe this is that it smells like a sweet, fruity juice... If you can imagine what that smells like :L Anyway, when you put it on I swear the smell can fill up an entire room, but it's not overwhelming. I would say you would probably only need to touch up the scent once or twice during the day/night, but I guess you ha e to do that with any other perfume. There is also a vanilla and I think island flower scent which also smell really great aaand they also have candles with these scents. I purchased this from Cotton on Body, which I think is just in Australia but you could probably order it online if you wanted!

Maybelline- Master Precise Liquid Liner

I recently bought a new master precise liner after finishing my previous one. This is by far my favourite liquid liner that I have come across! The application is very smooth, it dries quickly which is always good and it has a nice black colour to it. I noticed that it lasts quite a while if you do not use it daily unlike my friend who also purchased it found it ran out within approx. 2 months because she used it everyday, whereas my one ran out after 4 months. You can make the line thick or thin depending on how hard you press. I have also noticed that this liner lasts all day without smudging. In Australia the price of this is $13 (you can do your own conversions :)) which is a price I definitely am willing to pay since this product is 10/10 on my scale!

New Blogs

Hello to anyone who is reading this! I just wanted to say that I will be blogging about products and giving reviews and stuff like that within the next week or two, so look out for those! :)

Christmas Things :3

1. My reindeer earrings! First of all I must say I adore them...I mean they're so sweet. I was looking for some sort of reindeer jewellery  and when I came across these I just had to get them.

Why reindeer jewellery? Well I got this idea from 'Zoella' (hope she doesn't mind me using this name)If you are unaware of who she is, she has a youtube channel and a blog (check them out!) Anyway, I was watching one of her hauls and she showed a necklace that had some sort of animal with antlers on it and it reminded me of a reindeer and I though of christmas, so ever since then I made it my mission to find reindeer jewellery :)

2. So I was in IKEA and I was eyeing off these christmas lights because they displayed them so nicely and I couldn't help myself but purchase them. As I was walking around the wonderful path the people from IKEA send you on, I kept seeing these lights everywhere, so as I was heading toward the checkout I spotted the boxes and I literally sprinted towards them. Yes I know it may sound silly but what can I say... I like that shit :)

Side note: I don't think I will be blogging about anything specific, but that might change so bare with me. (is it bear or bare? :P)

Christmas is Superb

So...It's officialy the holiday season which has made me quite excited, although it is very hot...Wait! What? That's right, I live in the Sunny country that is Australia! It may seem strange to not celebrate christmas when it's cold an snowing but I suppose that is the price I have to pay for freedom. Of course it would be nice for it to be snowing right now:).
The Christmas of 2010 was in fact spent in Norway which was beautiful, so you could say I had a 'white christmas' that year. That was the month I could celebrate christmas like people from the top half of the world... You know, making snowmen, snowangels and the rest of it! Of course I wasn't any good at making snowmen, so this was my best attempt (this photo was taken a day or two after I made it and it rained a bit during that time so it was slightlty melted) Oh well!

New year was also spent in Norway, which meant we could set off fireworks in the backyard! Unfortunately for me though I couldn't set off any fireworks so I ha dthe next best thing! SPARKLERS!

This year christmas will be a little different than normal. This year I am spending christmas with my dad! Which don't get me wrong, I am excited about but I guess It will feel kind of odd not having my mum there, but I know she is going to have fun as she is spending christmas at the 'also' very sunny Sunshine Coast! Lucky her!

Where is my puppy in all of this? Well he is just happy lounging around, barking at everyone that walks past our house and eating, like any dog would :)

Well that's it for my FIRST blog! What will I write about next time? Nobody knows! Not even me!
